Evans Law Office

You bet I can. Jason J. Evans is a lawyer, licensed to practice law in New York. He has been sued many times and already paid tens of thousands of dollars to Texas consumers and their lawyers. We are of the belief that Evans collectors are heavily into drugs and alcohol as detailed in a recent Dateline NBC story about Buffalo, NY debt collectors. Evans himself is a deadbeat, owing many judgments that were won because of his illegal and unethical debt collection practices. I am sending you the name of an individual with the Erie County, New York Attorney Grievance Committee who is amassing a file on Evans. I am also putting you in touch with a consumer lawyer who is capable of holding Evans and his criminal thugs accountable for their actions.
If you live in the State of Texas DO NOT PAY Evans LAW OFFICE ANY MONEY!
They are a scam, liars and con artists. Jason Evans buys debts with no valid documentation to back them up. His collectors will lie, cheat, steal and extort money they are not legally entitled to.

The address they are using:
3842 Harlem Rd.
Suite 400-329
Buffalo, NY 14215
Is a UPS drop box.
It is illegal under federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) to misrepresent within the collection of a debt.
Nicole, a debt collector, stated in a phone conversation that the Harlem Rd address is a law office. Nicole is a liar!
Jason Evans is allowing letters, sent out under the heading of "Evans Associates" trying to collect on payday loans. We could not locate on state records anywhere that shows this name to be licensed or bonded.
Jason J. Evans has lied, misrepresented, and taken money for years that he is NOT entitled.
Please forward your complaints regarding these entities:
Karen Davis
Sr. Consumer Frauds Representative
NY Attorney General Office
Buffalo Regional Office
(716)853-8416
Fax: (716)853-8414
Jason Evans is a serial law license abuser, he needs to be stopped.
Do NOT waste your money by sending it to him or his lying debt collectors, you will get nothing in return.

It will take, I believe, a major coordinated simultaneous action by the National Association of Attorneys General, the Department of Justice, the FTC, the Federal Reserve, the Security and Exchange Commission and the Internal Revenue Service against a wide array of debt collectors to bring a halt to the abuses. Either that or a more practical coordinated attack against the head.
Enough empirical data is emerging that firmly points to the head of this industry ... that of the aged debt portfolios as the necessary target and vehicle used for the industry abuse. Those portfolios will become even more exposed as additional data emerges.
Legislative action will be needed to re-establish disbanded legislation and regulation that controlled the human tendency of greed. Over three decades have been spent to change the mindset of the entire country and its government. We have become a nation wherein consumption is valued more than preservation. That, ultimately, will need to be reversed.

Debt collectors are prohibited by law from harassing, threatening and/or intimidating consumers. Please contact Bud Hibbs at assistance@budhibbs.com. He may be able to offer advice and refer you to an atty in your area.
Also:
File a complaint with your state's attorney general as well as the atty general of New York.

Relax, have they ever sent you a dunning letter? What entity are they allegedly collecting for? Have you ever wondered how a "Law Firm" domiciled in New York
is going to serve a lawsuit on anyone domiciled in Florida? They are attempting to intimidate you and it apparently is working. They are breaking the law on each
phone call if they are indeed threatening to have you "served" at this point in time. Please update on whether they have sent a dunning letter to you.

I have never received any type of written anything from them. They are saying they are collecting on a credit card. On Wednesday of last week, I received another call that stated they were going to serve me the following day. Well, the next evening at 8pm, all the calls come in late at night, they called again and said they were giving me until close of business day today (Monday) to call them back or they would serve me.
