I've been contacted by Chad Steur about an already settled account (2009) with Texas Credit Union. I live in DFW TX and his client is
Federal Pacific.
I'm in the process of finding out how I paid for this and I'm afraid I don't have the return receipt I got with my payment.
Is there somewhere I can get more information how to fight this?

Received collection letter today in Alexandria Va. Called them right away about this 6 year old account.
The amount they qouted is more tan double correct amount.....I mentioned to the lady that this was 3
years beyond the Va Statute Of Limitations, over 6 years from my last payment when I became disabled,
and my income cut by half on disability pension.
The lady explained she would recomend a 1099C even though my pension is niether taxable nor is it
attachable.

As a retired Virginia State Inspector was recently contacted by the "office of Chad". Was threatened with issue of FORM1099C. Found out that their is NO LICENSE?BONDING on his part within Virginia State Corporation Commission (required), and plenty (thousands) of complaints against his firm for illegal abuse.
Please Beware Of This FRAUD ??????
